Think you’re SO funny: to take it to the stage? Join our exclusive, high-impact 3-Class Stand-Up Intensive this May in Pahoa Hawaii! We’ve distilled a 7-week workshop into 2 three class sessions designed to take you from a blank page to a stage-ready bit.
📅 THE SCHEDULE:
- May 6th: The Blueprint & Owning the Room – Learn the mathematical structure of a joke (Setup vs. Punchline) and how to command the stage with confidence.
- May 11th: Finding the Funny & Connecting – Learn how to mine your everyday life for relatable material and “break the fourth wall” to speak with your audience, not at them.
- May 13th: Storytelling & The Big Payoff – Transform your ridiculous life memories into structured narratives using “punch-ins” and high-energy act-outs.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
- Joke Anatomy: Deconstruct setups and punchlines to understand why things are funny.
- Stage Presence: Master mic etiquette, eye contact, and the “Pitch, Pace, and Pauses” that professional comics use.
- The Art of the Story: Learn to cut the fluff and keep the audience laughing through your entire narrative arc.

New Cast Takes the Stage in Season 8 of Gauntlet
This Sunday at 7 pm at the Curious Comedy Annex Theater is the first show with the new cast and the old cast will be there for a farewell show. I’ve been cast for the entirety of Season 8! for a 6+ month run.
Ask for a comp. If one is available, I’ll get it to you!
The Gauntlet format is designed to accommodate a cast of 14. Every other week, 5+ guests players will be invited to each show—to play and compete as part of the Gauntlet elimination short-form extravaganza.
The show is short form improv, a lot like Whose Line Is It Anyway. It’s sure to be a good time so come join us and laugh.
